No, this isn’t a LATE post about Canada’s fine men’s and ladie’s recent hockey gold medal aquisitions in the 2010 Olympics.  The other team Canada in my world, the largely un-funded  folks who represent us as a country in the wild world of ski mountaineer racing, otherwise known as randonee races, are currently racing in Europe, and doing a GREAT job!  The largest Canuck  contingent yet are currently racing in an AWESOME 4 day stage race called the Pierra Menta (for the first time EVER!), and put in some excellent efforts in the recent World Championships in Andorra.  Check out the  Skimostoke, Goldenskimo, and SkiTheory blogs for reports.  Way to go guys and gals!

That leads me to this post of a great day I had with Jeff C and Julie M, two of our top athletes,  a while back (when there was powder).  Enjoy.
