In the beginning of January I finally bagged the summit of Mt English.  One of my first days of skiing in the Monashees was in the Mt English zone, one of Revelstoke’s prime, close proximity touring spots, easy access if you have a snowmobile.  I don’t, so I didn’t hesitate for a second when Joey offered to tow Danyelle, Greg and myself up to the”cabin”.  Having tweaked his ankle a day or two before, Joey wasn’t even clicking into his splitboard to join us, just ferrying us up!  What a guy.  This peak has been on my list since that first visit many years ago, and it was a great day of touring.  Here a couple pics.

Greg pushes the track up to the skinny couloir that leads to our first run.
